How to spot poor Driving Schools/Instructors
Now to tell you how to spot poor Driving Schools/Instructors.
There are a number of unprofessional things that some schools of motoring get up to.
You will know its time to change your driving school when you encounter:

An instructor who does not give you your full hour lesson

An instructor who takes off time for collection (within town)

A tatty old car that is over 5 years old.

No Dual Controls

No FULL ADI Permit

Dirty car interior

A car which has a stench of cigarettes

No teaching aids or props

Instructors who do not give out a review handout of your lesson. Questions are not a review of your lesson

An overly chatty person who talks for half an hour of your lesson in the car park

An instructor who checks under the bonnet every lesson, wasting time running down the hour

Someone who makes you feel uncomfortable

An Instructor who is overly stern/abrupt (SOME ex-examiners have a tendency not to be people persons and quit patronising due to their previous job as examiners, some leave you feeling quite uncomfortable, which is not a good learning environment no matter how much they know)

Now it may seem that I have a chip on my shoulder and I am trying to take a cut at a few certain people. Let me leave you in absolutely no doubt that I am indeed having a major cut at a few driving instructors in particular. I hate people being ripped off.
